COACHING WITH MARTHA
In the action phase we will continue the progress you have achieved in the development and reflection phases. An integral part of coaching is working on strategies or action plans that enable you to test out, integrate and synthesize what you have learned about yourself, between sessions. We will review these inter-session experiences together. New activities or attitudes for you to adopt or mindfulness or somatic exercises to practice will be created. In this way, you will advance, or validate your internal discoveries in the outside world.
Action: How & when will it happen?
Reflection: Why do you want it?
As partners, we will work together to discover what led you to want what you want. We will reflect on the feelings and insights from within that will support you on your path forward. We may search for, or notice images, landscapes or stories that hold answers or clues. Recognizing patterns and habits that impede, or influence the change you seek, cloud your focus, or obstruct the transitions you desire will be examined. It may be useful to look and reorganize certain memories and thoughts so that you find a path toward healthier behaviors and happier thinking in the reflection phase. With compassionate preparedness for the unexpected Martha will support you as you access what was hidden.
In our first session we will develop an understanding of what you want or what you don’t want happening in your life. In each session after that we will refocus what we have developed as your vision or desired outcome in the one before. The change you are looking for may lead us to examine different conditions, goals, desires, directions and approaches. It may also be interesting for us to consider any forces or directives that influence or drive what you want to pursue in coaching. Achieving clarity in the development phase becomes easier and more effective as coaching progresses.
Development: What do you want?
The CDRA approach is three-tiered to achieve your maximum goals. Our Coaching will be fluid but focused on your Development, Reflection & Action.
CDRA Coaching For Career Change
Life, Business & Executive Coaching from Professional Business Coach & Attorney: Martha Croog
Martha Croog is the founder of CDRA: Coaching for Development, Reflection and Action. She took the first steps to starting her business after an impactful visit at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA where she truly came to terms with the obstacles she had defied in her life. She had recently remarried and given birth to a beautiful, healthy, boy late in life and was inspired there by two healing specialists who encouraged Martha to help women who wanted to do the same.
That is when Martha saw something that she hadn’t been able to see before — that she could, and was ready to help people overcome obstacles just as she had done — as a coach. CDRA coaching was launched by Martha’s transition from the exclusive practice of law, to the consolidation of her mindfulness practice with her coaching education.
As a coach, Martha is dedicated to helping others to break through or reconfigure, obstacles and barriers in their lives by discovering answers within themselves that they didn’t know they had. Shared watershed moments are not infrequent at CDRA.
